Panchakarma, a specialityof Ayurveda deals with Shodhana modality wherein deranged doshas are extracted out of the body through Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti and Raktamokshana procedures. Physical and Psychological ailments are prevailing and rapidly increasing worldwide. Panchakarma along with Poorva Karma (Snehana and Swedana) and Paschat Karma (Samsarjana Krama and Rasayana Prayoga) is effective at both physical and psychological levels, gaining popularity globally.
