Field Visits

Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional course. It is considered as a part of college curriculum.Objectives of industrial visit are to provide students an external knowledge of field work with an aim to go beyond academics, industrial visit provides student a practical perspective on the world of work.

Industrial visit at Mangala Greens, Tarsali, Vadodara

On 2nd February 2019 the students of 4nd (10 students) semester of Diploma in Architectural Assistantship visited Mangala Greens,Vadodara, to get knowledge about the making of bricks. Here Student learnt basics of Campus Lay outing as well as understanding the individual units, the entry and circulations and fenestrations as well as drainage systems. Hands on practical opportunity was given to students by respective guide. Students were allowed to explore individually and visit every nooks and corners of the site with a informed guide provided by the campus head.The visit was very enlightening and informative for the students.

visit at Shreenathji Bricks,Sakarda-savli Road,Vadodara

On 30th January 2019 the students of 2nd (23 students) semester of Diploma in Architectural Assistantship visited Shreenathji Bricks, Sakarda-savli Road,Vadodara, to get knowledge about the making of bricks. Here Student learnt basics of brick making, including raw materials, casting etc. Hands on practical opportunity was given to students by respective guide. Seeing bhaththi live further enhanced their interest in building materials.

Baroda roses nursery & Sayaji garden

On 25 th June 2018 the students of 5 th (50 students) semester of Diploma in Architectural Assistantship visited Baroda Roses Nursery & Syaji garden to get the knowledge of soft & hard landscape. Here they observed types of indoor & outdoor plants, types of seating, how to create focal points in landscape, etc… They took photos and visit the site and observed the landscape. They also understand the elements of landscape.

Jami Masjid,Champaner

An Industrial visit was arranged for 2nd and 4th semester students to Jami Masjid, World heritage building at Champaner, Vadodara. It is an example of indo-saracenic architecture.

Sun Temple of Modhera

An Industrial visit was arranged for 2nd semester, it is one of the historical buildings which is situated in Modhera near Patan, Gujarat. The exclusively carved temple complex and the magnificently sculpted kund are jewels in the art of masonry of the Solanki period.

Sarkhej Roja,Ahmedabad

This Industrial visit is arranged for third semester students, Sarkhej Roza comprises one of the most elegant and unique architectural complexes of Ahmedabad. In its architecture, Sarkhej Roza is an example of the early Islamic architectural culture of the region, which fused Islamic stylistic influences from Persia with indigenous Hindu and Jain features to form a composite “Indo-Saracenic” architectural style.
