Industrial Visits

Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of college curriculum, mainly seen in engineering courses. Objective of industrial visit is to provide students an insight regarding internal working of companies. We know theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, industrial visit provides student a practical perspective on the world of work. It provides students an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives them exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at the college. Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment. Industrial visits are arranged by colleges to students with an objective of providing students functional opportunity in different sectors like Design, Manufacturing and Maintenance, Quality Assurance and marketing. Industrial visits help to combine theoretical knowledge with industrial knowledge. Industrial realities are opened to the students through industrial visits.


Students of Parul Polytechnic Institute visited Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (EME) Vehicle Technology which is situated at Vadodara near EME School, BSNL colony, Karelibaug, Vadodara, Gujarat 390002, India. It is a training unit of Indian Army. It provides information about the vehicles which are used in Indian Army. Students were astonished when they visited the unit and got technical knowledge about the different vehicle technology.

Indo German Tool Room

Students of Parul Polytechnic Institute visited Indo German Tool Room at Ahmadabad, which is a tool room and training Centre engaged in production of tools of precision plastic & metal component and also engaged in areas of Training in tool and dye making, CAD/CAM & CNC Technology. The visit had been designed to train the students in Designing and Manufacturing of intricate tools like. Press Tools, Plastic Moulds, Dye Casting, Dyes, Gauges, Jigs & Fixtures etc. By visiting such industries, students get awareness regarding the current needs of industries, It helps students to upgrade the knowledge and develop their skills.
