National Seminar on ‘Recent Trends in Research and Development’ was successfully organized by Faculty of Applied Sciences, Parul University in collaboration with the Microbiology Society of India wherein reputed subject experts Dr Deshmukh, Dr Wakte and Dr Awasthi delivered keynote addresses.

One day seminar on “Research2Rupees”

Hon’ble Provost, Parul University, Dr. Ketan Kotecha, delivered a key note address to the audience and shared his views on research commercialization. Dr. R. V. Vyas from Anand Agricultural University, Dr. Manesh Thomas and Dr. Sweta Sharma from Savli BioIncubator, GSBTM served as a resource persons for the seminar. Speakers shared their experiences on impending need and importance of making value out of research. It increased awareness and motivated many young students and faculty members to think in the direction of research commercialization. Other speakers also explained government policies and success stories for research commercialization. Dr. Ajit Gangawane, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences chaired the sessions. The seminar was attended by the students and faculty members from Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Management Studies, Parul University. This seminar throwed a light on research commercialization and its essentiality in the recent era.
