The need for organizing workshops arises from the continuous changing engineering environment all over the world and India is not an isolated case either.

It is a regular practice of Mechanical Engineering Department to organize workshops which are spread throughout the academic year so as to prepare the students for national needs arising in industry, research as well as academia. The above purpose is very well achieved by providing a platform, so as to upgrade its faculties & students as well as evolve the curriculum in such a fashion that departmental objectives are very well served. Some of the Workshops organized by Mechanical Engineering Department are “Use of Animations in Teaching-Learning in Mechanical Engineering”, “Hands-on Practice on HTRI”, “Automotive AC System Overhauling” etc.
