In 2015 a conference was organized in the field of Mechanical Engineering covering the extreme innovations, research and futuristic trends of in versatile field of Mechanical engineering. The prime idea to organize this conference is to bring researchers, Scientists, Engineers and Scholar Students together to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results in all major areas of Mechanical Engineering. It helped in identification of practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted through presentation and discussion of papers. The conference intends to encourage inventions, scientific investigations and research to promote their application for development in all sectors of national economy.

The 2nd International Conference “Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of “Smart Innovations” in PiCET’19.First session on day one was on theme: “Next-Generation Manufacturing”. Session chair for this session were Dr. Kaushal A. Desai and Prof. Snehal Trivedi. Second session on day one was on theme “FEA Application in Industries”. Session chair for this session was Dr.Atul Daga and Prof. Sohail Siddiqi. Dr. Daga had explained various applications of FEA in industries. First session on second day was on theme: “Only one or can we get all in railway operation: high capacity, safety, reliability, robustness and resilience??” Session chair for this session was Dr.Restel Daga, Prof. Senhal Trivedi and Prof. Sohail Siddiqi. Second session on second day was on theme: “Industry 4.0 in Welding” and “Waste to Energy and Material Conversion: Prospects and challenges” Session chair for this session were Mr. Parag Panchal, Dr. Bhale and Prof. Manish Rahevar,Track Coordinator, Smart Innovations, PiCET 2019.


Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Parul University and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WuST) jointly organized 1st International Conference on : "Parul University International Conference of Engineering and Technology : Smart Engineering" during 16-17 February, 2018. About 40 Papers (Out 100 received) were presented on the broad theme of Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy and Environment and others for Mechanical Engineering Track "Smart Engineering". Conference was structured around small presentations to allow all participants to enter into the practical discussion. More than 200 delegates across the country brought together to share their experience. Dr. Salim Channiwala (SVNIT Surat), Dr. Atul Srivastava (IIT Bombay), Dr. V D Achche Lal (SVNIT Surat), Dr. Vishvesh Badheka (PDPU Gandhinagr) and Mr. Deepak Achary (INOX Ltd.) had delivered the plenary talks on the advanced research areas of Mechanical Engineering. They have also chaired the sessions.

NCEVT 2015

The National conference on “Emerging Vistas of Technology in 21st Century” popularly known as NCEVT’ 15 with the theme of Advances in Mechanical & Automobile Engineering, was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department of Parul Institute of Technology in collaboration with Federation of Gujarat Industries, Vadodara, during 3rd and 4th April 2015. Convener of this National Conference was Dr. Shital Shah, The Principal, Parul Institute of Technology.We have received 70 responses from research scholar, academician and industry persons to present/publish/attend the conference across all over India. All conference papers were reviewed by a technical review committee of Professors from Institutes of excellence like IITs, NITs and leading national institutes in the specific area of conference.
