World Health Day 2017

A project guided by co-coordinator with the objectives of -To assess the prevalence and practice of tobacco use among the youth And Measure the impact of tobacco control efforts through implementation of different provisions of NTCP 2007-08 and its regulations in Waghodiya taluka. Proposed WHO day celebration program from 1st April to 7th April, 2017. That will include pre-test evaluation about mental illness followed by creating awareness by Skits and role plays done by MPH/MHA students and posttest evaluation among rural population of selected villages. The theme of the celebration will be, “Depression: let’s talk”. Focus group Discussions,a qualitative research is also going on by the public health department to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practice regarding mental issues among the villagers in different age groups.
