World AIDS Day Celebration

Department of Medical Surgical Nursing organized a guest lecture by Dr.Anil Sharma, Prinicpal, MTIN, Charusat, Anand. On 1 st December,2017. Sir explained to complement the global World AIDS Day 2017 campaign which promotes the theme “Right to health” & the World Health Organization will highlight the need for all 36.7 million people living with HIV and those who are vulnerable and affected by the epidemic, to reach the goal of universal health coverage. During this lecture Parul institute of Nursing faculties and students are presented.

World Food Day Celebration

Parul Institute of Nursing had celebrated WORLD FOOD DAY on 16th October 2017.Students have prepared variety of healthy food dishes to make people aware about importance of nutritive food in health as well as illnesses. Many students and faculties from Parul University have visited the food stalls and also gained knowledge regarding preparation of hand made healthy diet.

International Midwives day

International Midwives day was celebrated by Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Parul University,Parul Institute of Nursing on 5th May, 2018 on the theme: “Midwives leading the way with quality care”. Faculty members, students and staff nurses of Parul Sevashram Hospital participated in the programme. There was a quiz competition and expert session by Mrs. Varshaben Rajput; Assistant Nursing superintendent and State TNAI executive member, GMERS Hospital, Gotri. Vadodara. The programme was successful in increasing awareness regarding midwifery among faculty, staff nurses and students.

World Malaria Day Celebration

On occassion of World Malaria Day celebrated across the globe on April 25th every year, students and faculty members in Parul Institute of Nursing celebrated World Malaria Day this year on the theme ”Ready to beat Malaria”. Students and staff members organized various activities such as Street Plays, Awareness Walk etc… Dr.Ankita Parmar Asst.Prof, Parul Institute of Medical Science & Research (PIMSR) conducted a guest lecture on the topic ” Ready to beat Malaria for students and staff members of Parul Institute of Nursing.

World Heart Day Celebration

On occassion of World Heart Day celebrated across the globe on September 29 every year, students and faculty members in Parul Institute of Nursing celebrated World Heart Day this year on the theme ” Share the Power”. Students and staff members organized various activities such as Street Plays, Awareness Walk etc…to spread the message of ” Healthy Heart, Healthy Life” among all. Dr.Naresh Godara, Professor in the Department of PSM, Parul Institute of Medical Science & Research (PIMSR) conducted a guest lecture on the topic ” Healthy Heart” for students and staff members of Parul Institute of Nursing. Further, around 60 persons living near the Kishanwadi Area of Vadodara City were screened for Hypertension in the Health Check-Up Drive conducted by the Faculty of Nursing on the World Heart Day.

World Mental Health Day Celebration

Department of Mental Health Nursing had organized Panel Discussion on “WORKPLACE WELL BEING” at central auditorium on 10th October 2017. Panel discussion was real brain stroming session with all multidisciplinary panelists Dr. Keatn Kotecha Provost,Dr.B.G.Kulkarni PIA, Dr. Shantanur Chakravarthy PIBA, Dr.Avinash Dave, Dr.Anup Chhasatiya PSH, Mrs.Janki Patel, Asst.Prof,PIN and Mrs.Fomi Dwivedi Director PIM. Parul University. Panelists shared their vast knowledge and experience in addressing various issues pertaining at a workplace.
