FDP on Quality Enhancement Practices in Academics and Research

Faculty Development Programme was organized jointly by Faculty of Social Work and Faculty of Management Studies, Parul University from 26th October to 5th November, 2015. The theme of the Programme was “Quality Enhancement Practices in Academics and Research.”
The FDP covered areas like Minor/Major Research Project Grants, Writing Research Paper & Thesis, Counselling & Mentoring practices for students, Question Paper Setting & Evaluation, Challenges in University Examinations, NAAC Guidelines, Transformation of CSR activities, Contemporary issues in HRM, Modern approaches to Education, Approaches in Research Investigation & Improving employability skills of students. 30 faculty members from Faculty of Management & Social Work participated in the FDP Program.

FDP on Enhancing skills for effective Teaching Learning Practices

The FDP was organized by Faculty of social Work in series of 13 sessions wherein eminent speakers were invited over the span of January-May 2017. The theme of the program was “Enhancing skills for Effective Teaching Learning Practices”.FDP covered various topics like Managing Team, Steps in writing for Research Paper, Paradigm shift in learning, Motivating the motivators through work life balance, Life Skills, Transactional Analysis, Improving Personal Proficiency, Emerging legal issues & significance on social work practices, Positivity at workplace, Win Win classrooms etc. amongst others. The participants included faculties from Social Work, Arts, Law, Commerce and other departments.
