National Conference on Emerging Legal Issues 2017

A National Conference on Emerging Legal Issues 2017 was organized jointly by Parul Institute of Law and Parul Institute Social. The Conference was inaugurated by the Guest of Honor, Prof. Anil Navale Former Dean, Faculty of Social Work, M.S. Uni. Of Baroda in the presence of Dr. Devanshu J. Patel, President of Parul University, Dr. Ketan Kotecha, Provost, Parul University, Dr. Kiran Gardner, Dean Faculty of Law, Prof. Preeti Nair, Dean, Faculty of Social Work.
The Paper presentation sessions were divided in eight tracks in different themes viz. Law and Governance, National and International Trade and Commercial laws, Intellectual Property Rights, Labour laws in the era of Globalization, Law relating to Women and Child, Sexual Offences, Surrogacy, Law relating to Industry and Environment, Human Rights, Laws relating to Cyber Crimes, Constiution, Demonetization and its effect on country’s economy, Criminal Law, Uniform Civil Code (UCC). It was chaired by eminent academicians and co-chaired by faculties from Law and Social Work.
One Best Research Paper of the Conference and Best Paper Presentation in each track (08) was awarded by the hands of Dr. H.S. Vijaykumar, Registrar, Parul University in the Valedictory session. The National Conference ended, with the vote of thanks from Dr. Kiran Gardner, Faculty of Law followed by National Anthem.
