Zimbabwe National day Celebration-2018

On 18.04.2018 Parul University celebrated Independence Day of Zimbabwe the program was graced by the presence of President of University and dignitaries from Somalia and Uganda. The uniqueness of University’s cultural diversity lies in these kinds of functions where everyone with enthusiasm, passion and zeal celebrate all the festivals together. On this occasion President of University shared his views on the proper meaning and utilization of Independence.

Establishment of Language lab in University

Parul University is known for its innovative and distinct teaching methodology. Recently a language lab is established and inaugurated in the vibrant campus of the University. Unique feature of the lab is that a student can speak, listen, record and discuss languages in audio form and can access the data again for its improvement. The lab was inaugurated by the Balunywa Baker -Education Attache and Ms Faith KayondoLogose – Financial Attache in Ugandan High commission of India.

Poster making Competition organised on the occasion of EASTER

On the occasion of Easter Parul University organized a poster competition for its international student with the theme of “Paint your Dream” and “Messages by Jesus”. Students with great enthusiasm participated in that event and shared their interpretations of what they feel about the teachings of Jesus and how the teachings will be used as a medium to achieve greater heights in all the fronts of life.

Parul University Acknowledged the courage of Rwandan people on the day of 07th April 18, which manifests the 24th commemoration of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Various Rwandan students from different parts of the country (India) gathered in the campus of the University to witness and take part in commemoration. A walk to remember was organized by students followed by National Anthem of the country students lit the candles in the remembrance and offered their respect to the victims of the genocide. Students also prepared a skit to show that humanity is above all. Students from Udaipur’s Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University and Gujarat Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar also attended the program and shared their views. The Program also witnessed the presence of President of University, Dr. Devanshu Patel and he gave a message of “ACCEPTANCE OF ALL”.

Nowroz Mubarak (Afghan New Year) celebrated in Parul University

On the beautiful morning of March 21, 2018 Parul University celebrated Nowruz (Afghan’s New Year).The occasion was graced by Vice-President of University Dr. Parul Patel. Student celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm they planted trees in University and distributed sweets and dry fruits in the
campus. These types of celebrations create harmonious and homely environment for the students who are missing their homes on festivals.

Seminar on How to transform yourself

On a pleasant morning of 22.01.2018 Parul University organized a seminar for its International students pursuing engineering. Seminar basically dealt with self-grooming and self-learning aspects of students.Few life changing habits and lifestyle was discussed with an example of various successful people. This session was taken by Mr. Shivam Pandey and Ms. Gargi Sinha. They also started an organization named as “RASHTRANITI”. Students asked various questions regarding their studies, personal problems and lifestyle issues. Our expert sorted all the issues and event ended on a happy note.

Afghanistan Independence Day Celebration

On 19.08.2017 Parul university campus witnessed the celebration of Afghan- Independence Day with its Afghani students. The program was graced by Vice-president of the University Dr. Parul Patel. Day started with the welcome speech by one of our Afghanistan student followed by a motivational speech of
Dr. Parul Patel. Students shared the knowledge of their history, culture and Independence Day story.Public speaker Mr. Shivam Pandey conversed about the relationship between India and Afghanistan. The program ended with a cultural performance by the students.

Rwandan Heroes Day Celebration

A diverse university with multiculturalism as an integral part of daily life composed of a rich mix of individuals who, with their own distinctive viewpoints, contribute to the intellectually challenging culture of the university through their academic pursuits as well as their extracurricular activities. Recently, we celebrated Rwandan Heroes Day on campus with the theme of “Upholding Heroism to build the Rwanda we want”.

Ghana National Day Celebration

On 06th March, Republic of Ghana celebrates its national day. Parul University is also a home of various students of Ghana. So, we celebrated National day of Ghana with them. Program gave us lot of insight about the relationship between India and Ghana, along with cultural resembles between the two countries.

Students attended SAUFEST

Students of Parul University attended the cultural fest of Ganpat University organized exclusively for students of south Asian nationalities named as SAUFEST 2018. Students of Parul University have participated in various events like elocution, debate and light vocal. This event helped our students to understand the cultural diversity of different nations.

Students attended International Conference organized at MSU

A student pursuing BBA in Parul Institute of Business Administration attended 21st Annual International Conference on the theme ” Improving Global Competitives: Innovation, Management organized jointly by Indian Association for Management Development (IMAD) and M.S.University of Baroda, Vadodara on January 21-22, 2018.

Christmas Day Celebration

An evening of University witnessed the celebration of Christmas day for our students who were missing their home during this Christmas and New Year. Students played secret Santa for each other and brought gift for each other. Chocolates were distributed to all the students and guests in the beginning of the program. The event started on the very positive note with the prayer as we also do in our Indian culture to get blessings of GOD. Students participated in various cultural activities like carol singing, dance performance and skit based on birth life of Jesus Christ. President of university, Dr. Devanshu Patel expressed his views on the religious and moral aspects of Christmas. Students paid their gratitude to the President of University, Directors of ISAC by presenting gifts to them. Event also involved various fun activities like dancing and photo booths. In the end delicious dinner was served and the event ended on a very happy, positive, cheerful and merry note because as bible say “take delight in Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart”.

Bhutan Independence Day Celebration

Students of Bhutan have celebrated their Independence Day on 17-12-2017.
Students of Bhutan from Parul University along with students from different colleges (MSU,Sigma etc.) and from Ahmedabad celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal.Students performed their Cultural dance & drama as a part of the program.Students were very much thanksto ISAC, Management of Parul University for organizing this day.

Zambian Independence Day Celebration

Students of Zambia celebrated their Independence Day on 24-10-2017.50 Zambian students of Parul University along with Indian Students & Faculty members celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal.Students showed their patriotism towards their country by showcasing videos on their Independence, culture & country.Zambian students performed their Cultural dance & drama as a part of the program.Mr. Shivam Pandey, speaker of the day, threw some light on the recent MOU’s & relationship between India & Zambia.Students concluded by showing their gratitude towards all the stakeholders of Parul University for organizing such event.Students were very much grateful for the great support from Parul University for celebrating this day.

Students of Uganda celebrated their Independence Day on 09-10-2017.45 Ugandan students of Parul University along with Indian Students & Faculty members celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal.Students showed their patriotism towards their country by showcasing videos on their Independence, culture & country.Ugandan students performed their Cultural dance & drama as a part of the program.Mr. Shivam Pandey, speaker of the day, threw some light on the recent MOU’s& relationship between India & Uganda.Students concluded by showing their gratitude towards all the stakeholders of Parul University for organizing such event.Students were very much grateful for the great support from Parul University for celebrating this day.

Nigerian Independence Day Celebration

Students of Nigeria celebrated their Independence Day on 01-10-2017.16 Students of Nigeria studying in Parul University along with Indian Students & Faculty members celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students showed their patriotism towards their country by show casting their tradition and culture of Nigeria. Students celebrated the day by singing national anthem & pledge and presented their history of independence along with dance performances and shared their experiences of their study in India. Mr. Yuvraj Singh, speaker of the day elaborated the recent MOU’s between India & Nigeria. He also added a point that 10% of crude oil in India is imported from Nigeria.Students were very much grateful for the great support from Parul University for celebrating this day.

Blessed Rainy Day Celebration by the students of Bhutan

Students of Bhutan have celebrated their auspicious day i.e. “Blessed Rainy Day” on 23-09-2017.Blessed Rainy Day is the holiday marking the end of the monsoon season in Bhutan. On this day,all-natural water resources in the country are considered to be sanctifying and citizens are encouraged to take an outdoor bath to be cleansed of “bad deeds, obstructions and defilements” and accumulated bad karma. Families traditionally gather for a meal of thup (porridge) at breakfast time.22 Students of Bhutan from Parul University along with 18 more students from different colleges (MSU, Adani, Sigma, Anand) celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal by preparing their traditional food by themselves.Students were very much greatful for the great support from Parul University for celebrating this day.

Orientation Program for Foreign National Students

325+ New Foreign National Students from 48 different nationalities kick start their academics at Parul University with a formal orientation program. The program was chaired by the Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana.
