About CAD for Mechanical Engineers

Computer Aided Design is used in the Engineering industry to produce designs, specifications and models for mechanical components or systems. Engineers can use this software throughout the entire engineering process—from the conceptual stages to strength analysis to the manufacturing methods for components.  This course is the combination of AutoCAD, Autolisp Program & Adv. Customization, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD Mechanical, Revit MEP and Inventor Professional.

  • Duration:

    6 Months

  • Fees:

Rs. 14,500- for Indian nationals and $280 for International Candidates.

  • Eligibility:

The students who have completed 10th / 12th or equivalent exams are eligible to enrol for this course. Also students of ITI / Diploma and above will also benefit by undergoing this course.

What You Will Learn?

  • AutoCAD mechanical is a combination of AUTOCAD with mechanical as that has a dynamic engineering model.
  • It helps engineers, designers to enhance analysis, designing visualization and documentation.
  • It is primarily used for the design and prefabrication of building systems.
  • It will help students to ace the MEP detailing fabrication, insight integration and documentation.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the skills and knowledge to:

  • Students will be able to design and create forms using parametric components.

  • This helps them to not only refine their design before it makes its way to production but also saves many resources in the process.

  • AutoCAD helps mechanical engineers to put down their ideas in detail which makes the first draft of their components much more detailed than they usually would have been.
