Embryologists are Medical Scientists who help to create viable embryos to either be used in IVF right away or to be frozen for later use. "An embryologist is in charge of the meticulous preservation and management of the genetic material utilized in the creation of embryos – the collected sperm and eggs - as well as monitoring those embryos as they develop. The rising prevalence of infertility has increased the demand for effective treatment as well as practitioners capable of providing quality embryology care.     The candidates who have completed B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Veterinary Science, B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Zoology/Microbiology/Biotech are eligible to apply for this program

What You Will Learn?

  • A Fellowship in Clinical Embryology is pursued by clinical scientists and clinicians for academic and professional development in the field of reproductive science, infertility, and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
  • As an embryologist, students will perform embryological procedures, such as in IVF at clinics and hospitals while learning techniques of incubation, hatching, and brooding.
  • Students will also be occupied with the collection, storing, recording, testing and fertilization of eggs/sperm from patients
  • An embryologist's work is generally carried out as part of a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians and gynecologists, doctors, specialist nurses, and counselors.
