About Agricultural Engineering


Agriculture plays a role of vital significance towards the social and economic development of every nation. The Faculty of Engineering offers a Bachelors and  Diploma program in Agricultural Engineering. The program is a part of the Universitys efforts towards producing an effective manpower with the ability to develop and enhance the scope of agriculture. The program is approved by UGC  and is focused on providing students with the most dynamic skill sets, which are essential for understanding the various aspects of agriculture. The department follows a curriculum which is strategically designed to equip students with the ability to effectively blend the knowledge of agriculture and engineering. With immense practical training and exposure the program also seeks to mobilize the engineering community to become more effective in delivering real products and services of benefit to the farmers. The agricultural engineering learning experience in Parul University is under the guidance of expert faculties from IITs and NITs, who provide with the most comprehensive academic experience.

Expert Lecture on Challenges and Opportunities in Agriculture and Agriculture Allied

Shri. Devidas Bhadange, who possesses more than 40 years of experience of working in the field of agriculture and other allied fields and who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of ABC Consultancy in Pune, was invited as an Eminent Speaker by the University for conducting an Expert Talk for students of B.Sc(Hons.) Agiculture, B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering , B.Tech in Dairy Technology and B.Sc in Food Technology degree programs.

Visit of Commercial Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory
