About B.Sc Industrial Chemistry

Chemical elements are the fundamentals of industrial and manufacturing processes which promotes development across various sectors for the conversion of chemicals into essential fineshed products and raw materials. The Faculty of Applied Sciences offers a three year bachelors degree program in Industrial Chemistry which seeks to impart within the students an understanding of essentials of this field. Through this program the students get to engage in a blended study of chemical science engineering and chemistry to understand the molecular structures and the numerous reactive process. As a way of promoting the practical training of the students, the Faculty of Applied Sciences is equipped with state of the art faculties for research and experimentation which prepares for the students for their work in the industry. The curriculum of this program is strategically designed to expose students to subject to subjects such as physics, chemistry, industrial management, amongst others. Beyond the scientific aspects of the program, it also seeks to expose students to the various methods and procedures which are followed in the functioning of industries. The Faculty goes on to maintain strong ties with various industries across multiple sectors which allows students to gain an experience to the most contemporary trends in the industry in preparation of their careers.
