The Faculty of Aviation Management offers a one year diploma program in airfares and ticketing & customer services which seeks to equip the students with the much needed understanding of the most significant aspects of the aviation industry. The rise in globalisation has been creating a huge demand for services which are rendered within the aviation sector, and this course been designed to offer the students the specialised knowledge which they require to navigate the scope of this industry. The curriculum of this program has been designed in such a way which educates the students regarding the different sorts of customers or passengers along with airfare calculations, ticketing of numerous airlines and the procedure to handle and create an itenaries. As a way of providing the most comprehensive practical training, a mock aircraft has been put in place which ensures that the students get to have the most enriching hands on experience of ticketing and airfares during the course of their academics. The program goes on to develop the interpersonal skills of the students along with their mannerisms and ettiquettes, so as to render the highest form of customer service to all the passengers. Anveshan, an inter college one day Summer Project Presentation Competition for students of B-Schools across the state was organized by Faculty of Management Studies. The event is designed to allow the management students to take up and practice their leadership role by guiding these students in their presentations. A total of 35 management students across Gujarat participated in SIP competition while 50 others took part in Poster Presentation and Power- point Presentation is fields such as Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Management.
