About MA Political Science

The Faculty of Arts offers a two year postgraduate Master of Arts program in Political Science which seeks to impart and shape students who have the ability to navigate the scope of the world and develop political insights which shape the political sphere. The world today is shaped and moved by countless political dynamics and perspectives, therefore this specialisation program allows students to develop a unique understanding into the manner and composition of the world through effective research and case study analysis. This post graduate program is research based, hence it allows students to develop indpeth research and studies into the global and geopolitical dynamics of the world so as to understand the national and international forces which influence and shape the world. The curriculum is strategically designed to develop the analytical, logical and interpretive skills of the students so as to understand and relate to the modern and current political practices in the nation and the world at large. As a way of promoting and developing the practical skills of the students, the Faculty of Arts promotes various extra curricular activities such as debate, public speaking, general knowledge quizzes amongst others, which help in shaping the confidence and the essential leadership traits of the students. As a way of ensuring the effective learning of Political Science amongst the students, the faculty is equipped with an elite leagues of professors and experts who courteously nurture and guide the students in the path of political leadership in preparation of their future career. Through this course students get to venture on field trips and engage in public spheres so as to learn and understand the various real-time political elements which shape the world of today.
