About M.Sc. in Petrochemical Technology

The Master of Science in Petrochemical Technology is a two year post-graduate program which seeks to provide students with an indepth understanding into the various aspects of petroleum and chemical sciences. Petrochemicals from petroleum and natural gases have maintained a position of great importance within the manufacturing industry as many products require the use of such chemicals. The Faculty of Applied Sciences seeks to shape and develop the practical understanding of the students within this field by developing within them a unique hands on training. The program is a specialisation which allows students to develop an indepth glance into the scope of this field through research. For this purpose, the University is equipped with state of the art faciltities for research and experimentation such as laboratories and workshops. The program is taken under the instruction of expert faculties in consultation with field and industrial experts who go on to ensure that the knowledge which the students receive is constantly relevent. The program instructs students in the various aspects of petroleum geology, geochemistry, reservior processes, along with the principles of chemicial engineering. Therefore students who get to take this course will get a step ahead in the field and in their career.
