About M.Tech VLSI & Embedded System design


Both VLSI and Embedded System are high in demand. As long as electronics exist, circuits will exist and so will ICs, hence this field will continue growing at a great pace. VLSI and Embedded Design are two different concepts which comprise the design and development of IC based systems. Parul University offers a two year masters program in VLSI and Embedded System Design which focuses on the research and development of novel design methods. Our prospective students will be introduced to advanced embedded systems, SOC design, real time OS, CMOS VLSI design, advanced microcontrollers, etc. Besides, the students will also receive hands of practice of working with semiconductor devices and circuits, architecting systems, CPU, memory and peripherals. Our highly trained faculties form renowned Institutions such as IITs and NITs, will nurture and develop the students’ vital knowledge along with the most essential industrial competencies. PiCET-2019

The 2nd International Conference- Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering was jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. First session on day one was on theme: 'Next-Generation Manufacturing'.

Industrial Visit at Matrix Comsec

A visit to, 'MATRIX COSMEC', was planned for the 5th semester students of EC engineering department, PIET on 7th September 2016. The main objective of the visit was to learn about switching and routing devices manufacturing its working. Matrix has a production capacity of about 10,00,000 ports per annum. The factory also houses a full-fledged technical support centre spread over an area of 10,000 sq. ft., manned by engineers. The centre provides immediate technical assistance to Matrix channel partners and customers during installation, operation and maintenance of the products.

Hackathon : Crime & Security 2019

Making use of Student Innovation to Combat Cyber Crime: With crimes taking different shapes and forms every passing moment, as a result of the ever advancing technology, the Vadodara City Police, in association with Parul University, took the initiative of organizing a two day Hackathon on the subject of Cyber and Security. A group of 30 teams, and 100 students, took part in this 30 hour Hackathon, which was commenced on the 12th and was concluded on the 13th of September.

Expert Lecture on Satellite Communication

Expert Lecture was organized on 'Satellite Communication' for the students of 5th semester U.G. program by the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology. Mrs. Anila Shah, Assistant Engineer from Door Darshan Kendra, Ahmedebad was invited to share her knowledge with students. Around 120 students has attended lecture delivered by the guest speaker.
