PiCET-2019

The 2nd International Conference “Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of “Smart Innovations” in PiCET’19.First session on day one was on theme: “Next-Generation Manufacturing”. Session chair for this session were Dr. Kaushal A. Desai and Prof. Snehal Trivedi. Second session on day one was on theme “FEA Application in Industries”. Session chair for this session was Dr.Atul Daga and Prof. Sohail Siddiqi. Dr. Daga had explained various applications of FEA in industries. First session on second day was on theme: “Only one or can we get all in railway operation: high capacity, safety, reliability, robustness and resilience??” Session chair for this session was Dr.Restel Daga, Prof. Senhal Trivedi and Prof. Sohail Siddiqi. Second session on second day was on theme: “Industry 4.0 in Welding” and “Waste to Energy and Material Conversion: Prospects and challenges” Session chair for this session were Mr. Parag Panchal, Dr. Bhale and Prof. Manish Rahevar,Track Coordinator, Smart Innovations, PiCET 2019.

PiCET-2018

Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Parul University and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WuST) jointly organized 1st International Conference on : “Parul University International Conference of Engineering and Technology : Smart Engineering” during 16-17 February, 2018.
About 40 Papers (Out 100 received) were presented on the broad theme of Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy and Environment and others for Mechanical Engineering Track “Smart Engineering”. Conference was structured around small presentations to allow all participants to enter into the practical discussion. More than 200 delegates across the country brought together to share their experience. Dr. Salim Channiwala (SVNIT Surat), Dr. Atul Srivastava (IIT Bombay), Dr. V D Achche Lal (SVNIT Surat), Dr. Vishvesh Badheka (PDPU Gandhinagr) and Mr. Deepak Achary (INOX Ltd.) had delivered the plenary talks on the advanced research areas of Mechanical Engineering. They have also chaired the sessions.

7th National Conference on “Emerging Vistas of Technology in 21st Century-2016” – Smart Innovations in Mechanical & Allied Engineering in collaboration with Federation of Gujarat Industries, The institution of Engineers and Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE).
About 120 request from research scholars, academicians and industry personnel to present/publish/attend the conference from all over India. More than 50 researchers from reputed Industries and Educational organizations submitted their Research/Review Papers in the area of Thermal, Design and Manufacturing Engineering. Talks were delivered by eminent speakers such as Dr. G. S. Grewal, Deputy Director & Head (Mechanical & Insulating Materials Division) at the Electrical Research & Development Association (ERDA), Vadodara, Prof. Atul Srivastava, IIT Mumbai, Prof. H.K Raval, SVNIT, Surat, Prof. A.R.Patel, Professor & Head, LDRP Gandhinagar.
