Akshit Jayswal secures 2nd position at the 4th Technovation Hackathon and innovation Budge

Innovation and technology are at the heart of PU hence the institution creates endless platforms for the students to explore their innovative elements. Recently a student from the Department of Chemical Engineering Akshit R. Jayswal competed at the 4th Technovation Hackathon and Innovation Budge which was held in Delhi. This annual event is organized with the aim to provide the young minds of India with a platform to showcase their ideas and prototypes. Furthermore, the event welcomes academicians, government and private sector officials as well as other experts from the tech industry across India to come and interact with the students. 

This year's event welcomed the participation of more than 1500 budding competitors from India and across the globe. Despite the tough competition, Akshit stood out from his peers by securing the second position and a cash prize of Rs 10 000. With this year's theme being centered on Smart Transportation and Pollution Control Akshit’s inventions stunned the panel of judges and participants who were present throughout the 3 rounds that took 96 hours. “I appreciate the support and guidance of all my mentors who inspired me to work towards excellence in achieving my dreams and to always believe in myself ” shared Akshit R. Jayswal.
