PU is dedicated to imprinting an impact that goes beyond education hence the university is continuously expanding and introducing initiatives to better society. Recently the university was awarded as the Leading university in Gujarat at the Crown Awards ceremony. The recognition was awarded by an esteemed newspaper organization, Divya Bhaskar. The event was graced by the presence of honorable guests such as renowned monk and author, Gaur Gopal Das Ji and Union Minister of State for Communications, Shri Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan who also felicitated the award to the University’s president Dr. Devanshu Patel.

Over the years PU has reached milestone achievements by introducing state-of-the-art facilities, international networks with renowned institutions abroad, approval of its medical teaching hospitals, and many more successes.
