Five – a 3-year Diploma (after Class 10), a 4-year Bachelor’s (B.Des / B.Sc, after Class 12), a 2-year Master’s (M.Des, after graduation), plus short Certificate courses and Summer School programmes.
The five design specialisations – Communication, Product, UX & Interaction, Fashion, and Interior & Furniture – are awarded as a B.Des. Animation & VFX and Film & TV Production are awarded as a B.Sc. Both are 4-year undergraduate degrees.
Admission runs through PU-DAT, which includes a portfolio component. Requirements vary slightly by level – see the Admission & Aid page for the full exam pattern.
Yes. Merit-based tuition-fee waivers of up to 100% are awarded on PU-DAT percentile, and exceptional NIFT / NID / UCEED performers can avail 75–100% scholarships.
Absolutely – many students move from Diploma to a Bachelor’s, and from a Bachelor’s into a Master’s, building a continuous design pathway at PID.
