About Hospital Infection Control

Reckoning the infection rate in the hospital and the alarming spread of Covid-19 disease across the world, health care professionals are turning towards obtaining online information on hospital infection and its prevention including coronavirus. The online training on hospital infection control introduces themselves to the essential aspects of prevention of the spread of infection including basic preventive measures, needle stick injury, post-exposure prophylaxis, Blood spill & Bio-Medical Waste Management, Sterilization & Disinfection, operational activities of CSSD in hospital, principles of surveillance, active & passive immunization, infection control practices in cooking areas and housekeeping department.
Infection control practices are highly essential in providing a safe health care environment. It causes a significant reduction in the risk of preventing the potential infection. Providing the healthcare personnel platform with informed information regarding infection control would help us ensure a safe environment.
This e-learning course will help doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals to enhance their knowledge on preventive practices of hospital infection.
