About Erasmus+


Erasmus+ is a European Union programme which is designed to support, promote and nurture the young generations and faculties in Higher Education. The program is aimed at providing support to the various stakeholders in higher education amongst individuals, countries and universities across the world. To further this purpose the project provides funding, financial aid and sponsorships to take part in various mobility programs, innovative projects and research-oriented programs. The main agenda behind this programme is to promote sustainable development amongst its partners. This objective has been made possible through its efforts which have been dedicated towards equipping the essential skill sets required to navigate the labour market, reducing unemployment, especially among the young generations, supporting innovation and encouraging novelty.

Ajaykumar Alapati, a Computer Engineering student at Faculty of Engineering & Technology, PU is at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland for a period of 6 months under the Erasmus+ Mobility student exchange program fully funded by the European Union.

Businge Possible Emmanuel, a student from Civil Engineering 6th Semester at Faculty of Engineering, Parul University travelled to University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule, Mainz, Germany, under the Year Exchange Program for the duration 1st March 2019 to 29th February 2020.
He was studying the following subjects at University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule, Mainz, German - Research methods, Construction Project Management, Applied Superstructure Engineering, Applied Infrastructure Engineering, etc

Dr. Unnati Joshi & Mr. Santosh Nair | Erasmus + Mobility.

Dr Unnati Joshi - Dean of Engineering & Technology & Mr Santosh Nair –Director of Training & Placement Cell, Parul University visited Wroclaw University of Science & Technology, Poland under Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for the period 22nd to 27th October 2018.

Objective & added value of the Mobility:

· Participating in the Academic life at host university, Delivered Lecture Series to the students of Wroclaw University on the topics “ Advanced Materials & Advances in Non-conventional Machining Processes” amongst others

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu

Prof Bhupesh Goyal, Faculty of Mechanical engineering , Parul University would be visiting the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for the period of one week- 24th February to 1st March 2020. During his visit he would be conducting lecture-series on the topic “ Smart manufacturing , Computerized numerical control & 3D printing “ for the students of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu , Romania . He would also discuss the areas for future collaboration and strengthening the cooperation between both the Universities.

Erasmus+Student Mobility at Lucian Blaga University, Romania

Yash Devang Mehta and Dhruvkumar Sojitra, students from the faculty of Mechatronics Engineering took part in a semester exchange program at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu , Romania under the Erasmus+ student mobility program, fully funded by the European Union for the period 24th February to 20th July 2020 . The students earned 28- 30 Credits after the successful completion of the Program.

Faculty of Management at University of Applied Sciences

Vraj Patel & Indraneel Mohite, students from BBA 4th Semester students at Faculty of Management, PU are at the University of Applied Sciences, Aschaffenburg, Germany, under the Semester Exchange Program for the duration 1st March 2019 to 30th September 2019.

Kaushal Dave & Kashyap Padiya, students from the Mechanical Engineering Department 8th Semester students at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (PIT & PIET), PU are at the University of Applied Sciences, Aschaffenburg, Germany, under the semester exchange Program for the duration 1st March 2019 to 30th September 2019.

Four Architecture Students In Semester Program in Portugal

04 students from the faculty of Architecture and Planning, Parul University took part in a Semester Exchange Program at Instituto Superior Tecnico(IST) in PORTUGAL from the 16th February 2020 to 31st July. The students worked on their final thesis dissertation and earn 30 European Credits.

Ms Anna Wozna & Ms Malgorzatta Rusinska under Erasmus+ Staff

Ms Anna Wozna & Ms Malgorzatta Rusinska, two Professors from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland, visited Parul University under Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program from 20th August to 24th August 2018. A lecture series on “Design of Experiments – theory and practice & Methods and techniques of conducting experiments ” was delivered by Ms Anna Wozna & Ms Malgorzatta Rusinska for the students of Mechanical Engineering.

Ms Chaitali Shah visited the University of Tartu, Estonia

Ms Chaitali Shah, the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Parul University visited the University of Tartu, Estonia, under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for the period 3rd to 9th September 2018.

During her visit she accompanied the group of 8 PU students from the faculty of Medical and Para –Medical who participated in the Summer School at the University of Tartu, Estonia

She got to explore the Lecture-Series on “Development of Medical Studies & Research in Estonia ”, “Physiotherapy & Neuro Rehabilitation”, & “ Estonian Health Care system “.

Ms Maria Borkowska from Wroclaw University at PU

Ms Maria Borkowska, International Relations Officer from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland, visited Parul University under Erasmus+Mobility Program from 14th May 2018 to 18th May 2018.

  • During her visit, she interacted with the students who are participating in the Tech Summer School at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland from 9th July to 14th August 2018.
  • She also had a fruitful discussion with the International Relations Cell of Parul University regarding Strengthening the Cooperation between both the Universities

New- Traineeship program at University of MONS,Belgium

Rakotojaona Andrianoelisoa Nambinina a student from the faculty of Masters of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Parul University participated in the traineeship program at the University of MONS, Belgium for the period 31st October 2019 to 30th June 2020

Prof. Seema Nihalani – Assistant Professor from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Parul University visited Poznan University of Technology, Poland under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for the period 10th to 16th December 2018.

Prof. Valentina Dubovskaja from the Vilniaus University of Applied Science, Lithuania visited Parul University under ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility Program from 02nd April 2018 06th April 2018. A Lecture- Series on the topic “Cloud Computing and Network Security” was delivered by Prof. Valentina Dubovskaja for the students of Computer Science & Engineering, Parul University. She also participated in the International Day event organised by Parul University and briefed the students regarding the courses at Vilniaus University.

Semester Exchange Program at Frederick University, Cyprus

02 students from the faculty of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Parul University participated in a Semester Exchange Program at FREDERICK UNIVERSITY, CYPRUS for the period 03rd February to 04th June 2020. The students will earn 30 European Credits after the successful completion of the Semester Exchange Program.

Semester Exchange Program at Saint Petersburg University

05 students from the faculty of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology, Parul University participated in a Semester Exchange Program at Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics & Optics (ITMO University) Russia from the period 2nd September 2019 to 31st January 2020 . The students got to earn 28- 30 Credits upon the successful completing of the Semester Exchange Program.

The students earned 28- 30 Credits after the successful completion of the Semester Exchange Program.

12 students from the faculty of Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering, Parul University are participated in a Semester Exchange Program at WROCLAW UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY ,POLAND from the 25th of February to 06th the July 2020.The students earned 30 European Credits after the successful completion their Program.
