Faculty of Commerce

The commercial world has grown significantly over time, markets and economies have been gradually evolving into new shapes and broad dimensions giving commerce a position of great significance in today’s society. The Faculty of Commerce offers an extensive academic experience which gives the students wide exposure to all the vital elements of the study. The Faculty seeks to groom and develop the competencies of the students in the commercial field by providing a comprehensive curriculum, which seeks to provide students with both expert and practical training in the field of accounting, commerce, finance and business. With the growing scope of competition in the modern world, the Faculty of Commerce goes beyond the traditional teaching methodologies by placing focus on the interpersonal growth of the students with strong business ethics and professional values. The strong orientation towards academic research creates an engaging atmosphere which continues to stimulate students into acquiring more knowledge. the Dean

With the emergence of the global scenerio, new commercial systems have come up, creating new avenues of practise for the students. With this I welcome you to the Faculty of Commerce in this university. The Faculty is comprised of academic experts and professionals with a unique industrial experience which allows the delivery of relevent and contemporary knowledge. I believe the understanding of the theoretical framework has been of great importance but beyond that as a faculty we have gone on to ensure that our students get to have the finest of practical industrial training. The one desire to deliver within the students through this program is the knowledge of the modern and contemporary practices in this field. Today we have digitalisation which has brought about e-commerce as a major of study, therefore we seek to develop the skillsets and competencies of our students so as for them to be active participants in these modern business economies. As the Dean of Faculty of Commerce, I welcome you to our centre of commercial knowledge.
