Dr. Parul Patel

Dr. Parul Patel is a resilient administrator, Managing trustee and Vice President (Student Affairs & General Administration) and Chair Admissions Committee of Parul University whose tenderheartedness has allowed her to maintain close relations with the students while guiding them through their academic journey. She is the distinctive personality after whom the trust & the University is named. Dr. Parul Patel holds M.D. in Organon from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and has served as Professor in Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College for 8 years. Currently, she is the Chairperson, Admissions Committee of the University and Member, Governing Body of the University. She is also a Member of Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), the Governing Body of homeopathic education and practice in India.

Dr. Parul Patel personally guides over 8000 students each year for the admission process with compliance to the rules & regulations of Regulatory. She has worked rigorously on awareness campaigns through which over 15,000 students are enlightened regarding the admission process in Engineering, Paramedical, Management, other professional & non-professional courses across the state of Gujarat. Dr. Parul Patel also takes regular classes & viva-voce of students pursuing BHMS & MD at Parul University making them practice ready with her experience. Beyond her administrative role, she goes on to look after the overall welfare of the students along with ensuring their well-being, during their academic journey.

Dr. Geetika Patel

Dr Geetika Madan Patel, is a dedicated educationalist, a highly passionate doctor and an entrepreneur whose selfless and social centric nature has allowed her to make groundbreaking contributions to the scope of education, healthcare, and to the overall welfare of the society. Her commitment to nurturing the young minds of India, has been made evident by her role and contributions as the Vice- President (Quality, Research & Health Sciences) at Parul University and Medical Director at Parul Sevashram Hospital. Before joining the fields of Academic and Medical administration, Dr. Geetika Patel completed her MBBS and MD in Community Medicine with a Gold Medal from the illustrious Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her passion for medicine and her desire to push forward the global agenda for Universal healthcare in India, has allowed her to play a pivotal role in the establishment of numerous medical institutions & hospitals under Parul University. Her countless efforts have also been instrumental in expanding the health care campaigns of the Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust, beyond the boundaries of Gujarat State to the various States across the country. She is closely involved in the core administration of University academics and her efforts are always directed towards innovating and enhancing the teaching learning across various programs in the University. She holds a strong belief in the power of research for development, as a major drive behind any form of academic progression, and this belief has been manifested into a living reality, through an endless number of intramural and extramural research projects which have been conducted by the students and faculties of the University, along with an ever increasing number of grants and fellowships. Amongst her various roles in the University’s administration, she also closely supervises the Research & Development center at the University. With a deep interest in quality centric initiatives for teaching learning, her incessant efforts have helped the University attain an A++ ranking by the NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council), right in the first cycle of its accreditation.

Dr. Geetika Patel firmly believes in the empowerment of women, and in recognition of her efforts in uplifting women across social and professional spheres, she stands as a recipient of the Women Eminence Award, in the Health category by Mantavya News. Her commitment to the field of healthcare in both service and academia has also resulted in her being granted the Medical Excellence Award by the India Prime Awards. Her efforts towards education have been greatly appreciated and she was felicitated amongst the prominent Women Edu-preneurs of Vadodara by the Times of India. She has taken various social initiatives resulting in the establishment of the Social Responsive Cell at Parul University which works in an array of social welfare campaigns including the fields of health, education and women development. Her contribution to the District, State and National healthcare, also resulted in her being awarded the Icons award in healthcare by Times of India. The untimely efforts of Dr. Geetika Patel, has resulted in novelty not only in research, but the nature and form of originality developed by every student who passes through her hands and guidance. With a motive to contribute professionally, she is a part of various national and state level organizations like Indian Chamber of Commerce (Healthcare committee), AHPI (Association of Healthcare Providers India – Gujarat Chapter), Voice of Healthcare and many more. With a deep thirst for innovation, she has recently founded a health tech platform namely “Total Health Solutions” which is designed and developed as one of the largest and most comprehensive Digital health platform which puts together all healthcare services at place in a digital space.

Dr. Komal Patel

Dr. Komal Patel serves as Member of the Governing Body in the University and the University’s Medical Director and Vice President (Medical & Paramedical Health Sciences). She oversees smooth functioning of the University’s Ayurveda Hospital along with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Parul Sevashram Hospital, and she is actively involved in establishing and developing surgical departments within the Hospital. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the renowned Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad, and she had been the recipient of a Gold Medal for her exceptional performance in MBBS. She has also completed her post-graduate studies in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She had worked as a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in Parul Maternity Home in Baroda prior to joining Parul University.

Under her dynamic leadership, hospitals attached to constituent institutes of Parul University viz. Parul Institute of Ayurved, Parul Institute of Homoeopathy and Research, Ahmedabad Homoeopathic Medical College, and Parul Institute of Ayurved and Research have been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare (NABH). Parul University is the first educational campus in the State of Gujarat whose attached hospitals have earned this distinction. Dr. Komal Patel had a pivotal role to play in establishing state-of-the-art infrastructure and ensuring quality treatment to the patients in these hospitals, thus enabling them to set higher benchmarks in healthcare institutions and attain NABH Accreditation.

She firmly believes academics alone cannot prepare graduates of the medical and paramedical field unless their studies are adequately compensated by research and practical exposure. She was instrumental in the signing of MOUs between Ahmedabad Homoeopathic Medical College, Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, and the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy for collaboration in training and research projects. Her proactive involvement in promoting research activities has also led to many teachers in Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Pharmacy institutes taking up Ph.D. studies. She believes that quality education is complemented by the inculcation of values: passion for one to excel in any field, compassion for the poor and the needy, care for fellow human beings, and optimism in the face of adversities will definitely help budding students to succeed in their educational and professional endeavours.

Mr. Dhruvil Shah

Turning aspirations into fulfilled careers while advancing future-forward innovation and redefining excellence in higher education at Parul University as the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Branding and PR and Dean of Student Welfare. From spearheading governmental and administrative initiatives that have positioned the University among the most elite institutions of India through attainment of the highest standard of accreditation and exceptional brand strategies and admission milestones that has led to a record of over 70,500+ students. As part of the University’s expansion strategies, he has also played a pivotal role in the establishment of Parul University Goa, a leading campus under the umbrella of PU.

Beyond his professional experience with Parul University, Mr. Shah is a true expression of the full circle nature of the University’s ever-lasting bonds. Beginning his journey from learning at Parul University as a BTech Computer Science Engineering student in the year 2008, to working at the University beginning as a lecturer, to growing to become one of the key administrative pillars that has been central to many of the milestone achievements made by the University over the years. He is one of the five founding members of the Parul University’s International Relations Cell, along with being a founding member of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and he went on to formulate the University’s Cultural Affairs department, and finally established the Branding Department along with the Central Contact Center from the ground up.

With all these marks on his shoulders, Mr. Dhruvil Shah’s impact has taken Parul University’s growth to greater heights, through his effective strategies in the branding, marketing and advertising sphere. He has also been pivotal in shaping the University’s infrastructural development, as well as the deployment of digital resources and infrastructure in both administrative and academic initiatives which played a crucial role in the digital transformation of the University during COVID-19, allowing the University to continue educating students even amidst the pandemic. Under his leadership, Parul University became the first industry leader in Education to successfully launch brand ambassador campaigns working with personalities such as Pratik Gandhi, Boman Irani, Vaani Kapoor, that gave Parul University a significant market capital, and the University name became known across all corners of India. Today Parul University stands as one of the most preferred destinations of learning, with its unique student centered atmosphere, with the finest events and festivals which bring to the campus prominent figures and celebrities from across the country, all being brought to life through the efforts of Mr. Shah and his team. His department has been crucial in developing highly innovative and larger than life videos and advertisements, along with marketing materials and its award winning prospectus, and the organizing of one of the grandest Convocation ceremonies of the country. He is a proud recipient of the most prestigious Times Employee of the Year Award by Times of India, in recognition of his innovative, passionate and highly unique strategies and exemplary mark in the industry.

Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan

With more than three decades of experience in the field of higher education, Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan is a reputed scholar, researcher, and educationalist. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics from Calicut University, M.Sc. degree in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), and Ph.D. degree in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology. A consistent dedication to academic excellence, research in science and student-centered learning has characterized his career. Now he sits as the Provost of Parul University, guiding with the same vision, integrity, and commitment to advancement and growth of students that has previously been the blueprint of his leadership journey.

Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan began his academic career as Reader and later becoming a Professor in Faculty in the Department of Instrumentation at CUSAT. Over the years, he became renowned as a pioneer researcher, innovative teacher and advisor of generations of students. He has conducted over 30 years of research in the major fields of physics and instrumentation, and has a very impressive output of 864 publications indexed in Scopus. He has been a driving force behind 26 MoUs and 174 other collaborations with foreign universities.

The leadership of Prof. Madhusoodanan as the Vice-Chancellor of CUSAT indicated that he can turn institutions around with a clear vision, strategic planning and a collaborative style of governance. Under his leadership and guidance as the Former Vice-Chancellor and Professor Emeritus, CUSAT observed a significant improvement in NIRF ranking going from Rank 69 to Rank 37 and further advancing the NAAC accreditation from Grade A to Grade A+. He was pivotal in the implementation of NEP 2020 policy in the curriculum and securing a rank in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Ranking in Computer Science, Engineering, and Physical Science. He has a reputation of devotion to translational research, education that is innovation-driven and projects that produce a practical change in society. He has played a key role in the establishment of 19 new academic programs, enhancing research infrastructure, entrepreneurship with 113 start-ups incubated at the CUSAT Technology Business Incubators, and international partnerships, to make sure the students are well equipped to face the global challenges. A noteworthy addition under his guidance has been the establishment of the Dementia Special Care Systems – Center for Neuroscience, which further strengthened the focus on health, science and social responsibility.

Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan has received many honors, such as the DRDO Academic Excellence Award (2020), the State Biodiversity Award for the Year 2021–2022, and the Chancellor Award of Best University in the State (2019 and 2020). His role as the Provost of Parul University is further reaffirming the university’s vision to create an environment where young innovators, faculty members, and students can grow together.

Dr. Kunjal Sinha

A passionate academician who has led a transformative career in the education domain spanning over 22 years in teaching, academic leadership, administration, and institutional development. Dr. Kunjal Sinha currently sits as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Parul University, and prior to her role, she also served as the Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education and the Director of the Centre of Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA). Through her role, she was pivotal in establishing the University’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Throughout her impactful academic journey, Dr. Sinha has been committed towards impacting learners across all levels of education through innovative approaches to learning by furthering access to education and competence building to magnitudes of beneficiaries in India and across the globe. Through her role at the University, Dr. Sinha was instrumental in securing statutory approvals from the UGC-DEB for the establishment of 11 Online Learning and 28 Open Distance Learning programs. These programs, from their point of inception, have furthered the University’s vision for providing the highest level of academic excellence across dynamic landscapes. Additionally, she was also pivotal in designing and leading the end-to-end student life cycle management, from admissions and onboarding to academic support, examinations, placement, and alumni engagement.

Aligning with the University’s vision for Education 4.0 and the digital mobilisation of the University’s academics, Dr. Kunjal Sinha played an instrumental role in developing the learning management system (LMS) of the University. Her strategic role in this initiative made it possible to ensure enhanced knowledge delivery and competence building for both the online learners and the full-time students of the University, ensuring robust technological infrastructure and seamless learner experience. Additionally, she was also instrumental in developing the Continuing Education Programs (CEP) vertical of the University, driving its growth and operational excellence with over 250+ academic programs, with 9,600+ enrolments since 2023. As the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Parul University, Dr. Sinha contributes to the overall vision of the University as a strategic pillar in management and administration.

In addition to her leadership role at Parul University, Dr. Kunjal Sinha has also served in numerous prominent roles in both academia and the industry, such as in-charge director at institutions such as C K Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management and Anand Institute of Management, as well as a strategy consultant for industry-leading marketing firms. Along with her leadership roles, her passion for educating continues as she served as a professor of management where she has published over 30 research publications. In addition to her paper publications, Dr. Kunjal is also a published author with a book on the life insurance industry. She continues to mentor and guide aspiring researchers as a Ph.D. guide, a role that has allowed her to perpetuate and foster a culture of quality research among the youth.

Owing to a record of her excellence in academia, Dr. Kunjal Sinha holds several awards and recognitions including the HEF Gujarat Chapter’s ‘Innovation in Education Award’, the “Innovative Trainer Award” by Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), among others. For Dr. Kunjal Sinha, inspiring the next generation of learners remains at the cornerstone of work and impact in the domain of higher education.

Prof. Manish Pandya

Prof. Manish Pandya is a passion-driven academician whose career and depth of technical expertise has inspired his far-reaching passion for innovation in education. With his career spanning over 19 years in the industry and in higher education, Prof. Pandya has worked in numerous professional and academic capacities which have all been collectively contributing to the development of the youth of Gujarat and the future innovators of India. He is currently sitting as the Registrar of Parul University and has been actively working towards shaping the regulatory standards and compliance measures as an officer of the University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Master of Engineering in Industrial Electronics from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, and is pursuing his Ph.D. in a similar discipline from Gujarat Technology University.

He holds a passion and zeal for contributing to the academic knowledge bank through his numerous research exploits. He has shaped and developed his expertise and interests in the areas of industrial electronics and drives, power electronics, programmable logic controllers, electrical machines, and wind energy conversion. He also worked on numerous industry consultancy projects which have generated a revenue of up to 20 lakhs. In these fields, he has managed to enhance the scope of academics and has made significant developments which have brought solutions through newfound knowledge and imparting knowledge to the future generation. He holds under his name 20 research papers in notable journals and publications presented on national and international platforms. Further contributing to the scope of academics, he is also a published author whose texts on Industrial Electronics have contributed to the scope of engineering. With the same drive for research and innovation, Prof. Manish Pandya has been a facilitator of numerous learning platforms which have been imparting the necessary skill sets and competencies required for students and higher educational professionals to build their capacities. Further adding another feather to his professional cap, he is also a member of the Indian Society for Technical Education and the Society of Power Engineers. He continues to make efforts towards contributing to the scope of higher education through his current role at the University and aspires to create the ideal learning system which sets students on the trajectory of excellence in higher education.

Dr. Pawan Dwivedi

Dr. Pawan Dwivedi is not just an educator—he is a force of inspiration and transformation. Currently serving as Professor at Parul University, Vadodara, he carries the honour of being India’s first-ever Youth Parliament Winner (1998). With a mission to ignite minds, he has trained over 67,000 professionals and industry leaders from India to Europe, Africa, Canada, and the U.S.—touching every corner of the learning world.

As an advisor to several national bodies, Dr. Dwivedi has journeyed across 3000+ cities, towns spreading knowledge, motivation, and vision. His influence echoes through corporate giants like Infosys, TCS, GSFC, L&T, Torrent, and prestigious platforms like CII, AMA, ASSOCHAM, ISTD, Lions International, Rotary, JCI, AMA, BMA and more.

Decorated with accolades from the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, and numerous international institutions, his powerful voice has resonated through ZEE News, TOI, Akashwani, News18, and other top media.
