Parul University began in 1989 as a charitable trust running a single college. Today it teaches medicine, engineering, law, pharmacy, agriculture, design and fifteen other faculties across four campuses, with NAAC A++ accreditation and UGC recognition.

What is Parul University?
Parul University is a private university in Vadodara, Gujarat, established in 2015 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act 2009 and recognised by the University Grants Commission. It holds a NAAC A++ accreditation awarded in 2023, operates four campuses across Gujarat and Goa, and offers more than 200+ programmes through 21 faculties.
The university grew out of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal, a charitable trust registered in 1989 that opened its first college in 1993. That sequence explains a lot about the place: it ran as a group of health sciences and technical colleges for twenty two years before it became a university, which is why the teaching hospitals sit at the centre of the Vadodara campus rather than at its edge.
Its strongest showings in national assessment are in innovation, pharmacy and internationalisation. Students come from more than 75+ countries, and the university runs semester exchange and dual degree routes with partners abroad.

1989
The trust is founded
Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust was registered as a charitable trust to work in education, healthcare and social welfare. PASM remains the governing trust of Parul University.
1993
First institution opens
Ahmedabad Homoeopathic Medical College became the trust's first educational institution, and remains part of the university today.
2003
Rajkot and Vadodara
Campus operations extended to Rajkot and Vadodara, laying the ground for a multi campus institution.
2008-12
A multidisciplinary base takes shape
Institutions were established across management, pharmacy, physiotherapy, business administration, engineering, architecture and computer applications.
2015
Parul University is established
The Government of Gujarat granted university status under the Gujarat Private Universities Act 2009, forming Parul University as a UGC recognised private university.
2018
Placement milestone
The university recorded a national placement milestone that shaped its industry engagement model.
2022
School education
The university extended into K to 12 education by acquiring Anand Vidya Vihar and New Era School in Vadodara.
2023
NAAC A++ in the first cycle
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council awarded Parul University an A++ grade in its first assessment cycle.

Goa campus opens
A new campus opened in Goa, extending academic operations beyond Gujarat while Vadodara remains the principal campus.
