The proposed Faculty of Education at Parul University aspires to be a centre of excellence in teacher education, guided by the vision of NEP 2020 and the framework of the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP).
The Faculty proposes to offer four-year integrated programs in B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., and B.Com. B.Ed., combining disciplinary knowledge with professional teacher preparation. Through innovative pedagogies, experiential learning, research, and school-based training, it aims to develop competent, creative, ethical, and reflective educators equipped to meet the evolving needs of education.

Offered under the 7(13) of the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2014, Parul University offers 3 Units under the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP)
B.Sc. B.Ed. (ITEP)
Eligibility: Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or + 2 (under 5+3+3+4 pattern) from a recognized board are eligible. Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics) must be studied with at least 50% marks in science.
Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS as per applicable Central/State Government/UT Administration rules.
B.Com. B.Ed. (ITEP)
Eligibility: Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or + 2 (5+3+3+4 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible. Commerce/Business Studies/Economics/Mathematics must have been studied at the Senior Secondary level.
Relaxation in marks and reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories as per Central/State/UT government norms.
B.A. B.Ed. (ITEP)
Eligibility: Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or + 2 and its equivalent (under 5+3+3+4 pattern) from a recognized board are eligible. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS categories as per government norms.

Library
Parul University’s libraries are knowledge hubs, offering a vast collection of books, journals, e-resources, and digital materials. With a tranquil environment and extended hours, they provide the perfect setting for focused study and research. Students can access a wealth of resources to support their academic pursuits.
Smart Classroom
The Smart Classroom at the Parul University, will integrate technology with innovative pedagogies to promote interactive and learner-centred teaching. Equipped with interactive smart boards, multimedia systems, high-speed internet, digital learning resources, and video conferencing tools, it will support blended learning, flipped classrooms, collaborative activities, and virtual expert sessions. Dedicated facilities for microteaching and lesson demonstrations will enable future educators to practise teaching, receive feedback, and develop effective digital pedagogical skills.
Multipurpose Hall
The Multipurpose Hall at Parul University, will provide a versatile space for academic, cultural, and professional development activities. Equipped with appropriate audio-visual facilities and presentation technology, it will support seminars, workshops, guest lectures, conferences, teaching demonstrations, and student-led events. The hall will foster collaboration, communication, creativity, and leadership among aspiring educators, contributing to their holistic professional development.
Psychology Lab
The Psychology Lab consists of Psychological Tests and Experiments (Verbal and nonverbal performance) which are used to test areas of interest, attention, memory, learning, aptitude, etc, including the Visual Motor Integration Test (VMI), Diagnostic Test of Learning Disability (DTLD), sociometric tests, Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test-second edition – BGT-II, Bell’s Adjustment Inventory, Wechsler Intelligence Scale among others. It helps students to understand ways of conducting psychological experiments and get first-hand experience in conducting these tests and experiments to observe and study the behavioural and performance aspects of individuals in and outside of classroom situations. Students also apply these tests during their research work.
Social Science Resource Centre
Faculty of Education has well-equipped Social Studies laboratory which has apparatuses and material required for various disciplines, including History, Geography, Civics and Economics, study of political and physical maps in historical and geographical context, globes, models, charts and so on. The lab activities strengthens theoretical knowledge and helps in concept clarification and effective teaching of the subjects. The permanent display of important maps and globes, pictures and charts and referring them through teaching is ensured to make the teaching of Social Studies effective, lively and interesting.
Educational Technology Resource Centre
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based learning is an essential part of school education. computers, LCD, overhead projector, smart board, camera to get hands-on experience of the futuristic classroom. It helps to enhance their teaching skills. The ICT-enabled teaching learning make them future ready educators, who will pioneer in making teaching learning effective and interesting process.
Art and Craft Resource Centre
Pupil teachers are trained to be efficient and effective teachers. The focus is on making them industry-ready, learning all those skills and activities which will be required in classroom teaching. Holds a special place in enhancing creative potential and equipping pupil teachers with required skill set. They learn various skills like fabric painting, glass painting, block printing, puppet making craft work, quilling and various other skills. Pupil teachers also learn various co-curricular activities in this lab.
Computer Lab
The lab is equipped with latest technology and updated systems which help students to learn various skills like educational website development, preparing online courses, study materials, creating educational blogs, preparing audio and video teaching aids and much more. Computers in all labs, including AIE labs, provide internet access with the help of broadband radio link and ISDN line backup.
Language Lab
Communication is an important skill which enhances performance of an individual and ensures appropriate expression of thoughts and ideas. The language laboratory is used to enhance learning of effective communication through practice. It facilitates classroom engagement and interaction by using computer-based exercises and activities to maximize language immersion. These labs are different from the traditional system of teaching and learning and thus offer more advanced features and functionalities. It helps in developing interest of students to learn effective methods and techniques of teaching and learning English through appropriate speaking and listening skills.
Auditorium &Seminar Halls
Our fully equipped auditoriums and seminar halls are ideal venues for academic, cultural, and extracurricular events. With advanced audio-visual technology and spacious seating, they provide the perfect setting for workshops, conferences, and performances, enhancing the learning experience.
Gym &Health Fitness Centre
The PU Gym and Fitness Centre is a modern wellness hub that provides students with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Designed to cater to all fitness levels, it offers spaces for strength training, cardio, and functional workouts under the guidance of certified trainers. With its vibrant and energetic environment, the PU Gym and Fitness Centre ensures that health and fitness remain an integral part of campus life.
Outdoor and Indoor Sports Complex
The Outdoor and Indoor Sports Complex at Parul University promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through diverse sporting facilities. The outdoor complex features a cricket ground, football field, and courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis, while the indoor complex offers facilities for badminton, table tennis, squash, and other indoor games.
