An ability to understand the fundamental elements of mechanics and electronics, and to practically put them into application.
An ability to solve engineering problems through a mastery of fundamental engineering subjects such as mathematics, engineering graphics and engineering physics amongst others.
An ability to Identify, formulate, review, research literature and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.
An ability to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis, interpretation of data and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
