Seminar on Recent Trends in VLSI

The aim of this Seminar was to provide an exposure in the latest techniques and tools developed in the emerging field of VLSI to the participants. This seminar provided the necessary understanding of power consumption in CMOS circuit, power estimation techniques and approaches at various levels of design abstraction i.e. from process, device, and gate level techniques to the system level issues. The leading researchers, faculty members and industry practitioners availed the platform to deliberate latest trends in the field of VLSI. The students can avail the forum to acquire technical foundations and basic knowledge to practice and initiate research activities in their domain areas.

Expert Lecture on Embedded

An expert lecture was held on 20 April, 2015 at EC department by Mr. Ashish Pushalkar for the 4th semester students. The topic of the talk was- embedded system & peripheral interfacing with 8051.

Expert Lecture on Computer Network

An expert lecture was held on 14 March, 2015 at EC department by Mr. Amol Puranik of BSNL. A detailed knowledge about Computer network was given by him to the students of 6th semester students.

Industrial Visit at BISAG

On 26th March 2015 students of 4th semester EC department visited the BISAG, Gandhinagar. The visit was focused on the practical perspective of transmitting the signals to Satellite, receiving the signals on earth station and broadcasting of signals.

Industrial Visit at Regional Telecom Training Center

Students of 6th semester EC department visited the Regional Telecom Training Center (RTTC) -BSNL, Ahmedabad on 30 March 2015. During the visit, students learnt about telephone lines, function of antennas and wireless mobile networks.
