Student Grievance Redressal: Our Commitment to Your Journey

At Parul University, we believe that true education thrives in an environment built on trust, transparency, and mutual respect. Our philosophy goes beyond the transfer of knowledge; we strive to ignite a lifelong quest for wisdom. To ensure this journey remains uninterrupted, we have established a robust framework for student support and justice.

I. Compliance with UGC Regulations, 2023

In strict accordance with the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, Parul University has constituted a formal Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC). This dedicated body provides a fair, prompt, and impartial platform for:
Prospective Students : seeking admission to our programs.
Enrolled Students : currently pursuing their academic goals.

II. Dual-Channel Redressal System

We recognize that grievances may arise from various stakeholders. To ensure every voice is heard, we have integrated two distinct pathways for reporting:
1. For Enrolled Students

(Internal MIS)

Students can log in to their PU-MIS Portal to file a formal grievance. This system allows for direct tracking, document uploads, and real-time updates on the status of the redressal.
2. For Parents & External Stakeholders

(Anonymous Portal)

We value the feedback of our parents and the wider community. We have launched a Public Grievance Form available on our official website. This portal allows for anonymous submissions, ensuring that concerns can be raised without hesitation.

Allows for screenshots, receipts, or photos to speed up investigation.

III. Scope of Redressal

Our system is equipped to address concerns as defined by the UGC, including but not limited to:
Admission Irregularities
Irregularities in admission or merit-based selections.
Fee & Documents
Issues regarding non-refund of fees or withholding of original certificates.
Academic Concerns
Complaints regarding unfair evaluation, exams, or academic conduct.
Harassment & Discrimination
Any form of harassment or discrimination based on caste, gender, or background.

IV. Our Commitment to Transparency

Time-Bound Resolution
We adhere to the 15-day window for initial responses as per UGC 2023 norms.
Independent Oversight
Students have the right to appeal to the University Ombudsperson for independent review.
Safety & Confidentiality
Whether through the MIS or our anonymous external portal, we prioritize the protection of the complainant.

V. Our Core Belief

“At the heart of our grievance system is the Parul University ethos: Synthesizing ancient civilizational values with modern-day innovation. By providing a safe, responsive, and accountable atmosphere, we ensure that every individual be it a student, a parent, or a citizen is treated with the dignity that reflects our national consciousness.”
