About Chemical Engineering

The Chemical Engineering program provides students with an exposure to the study of chemical processes in relation to engineering elements. The Faculty of Engineering offers a Bachelors, Diploma and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering centred on developing students who are well versed with the conversion and the handling of chemical elements into finished products. The comprehensive study, is designed to shape the understanding in the vital concepts of chemical engineering which include polymers, nanotechnology, computer-aided design, waste management, waste water treatment, biofuels and separation process, amongst others. The Parul University department of Chemical Engineering is AICTE accredited as a way of ensuring and providing the students the highest form of quality academics. With the department’s unique orientation towards research and development, the various facilities and laboratories have been placed to encourage innovation and the continuous search for knowledge amongst students.
