About Computer Science and Engineering with Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing has transformed the way traditional businesses perceived the IT services. It is utilized to share personal information, providing data storage, powering large PC games. The Faculty of Engineering department of Computer Science Engineering offers a four year specialisation in Cloud Computing which develops the various skills of the students by imparting a diverse knowledge in common cloud service models, basic technologies, history of cloud and its root in service oriented architecture. Through this program, students receive a rich foundation of internet based computing where services like servers, storage and applications are delivered to the organisations' computers and devices via the internet. As a way of providing the students with an enriching practical exposure to the study of Cloud, the faculty is equipped with state of the art computer laboratories and innovation facilities which allow students to gain a hands on training experience. The program imparts students an in-depth understanding of fields such as microprocesor architecture, software engineering, computer networks, load balancing, VM migration, etc. The Faculty has a league of top notch faculties and experts who go on to provide students with an in-depth academic and industrial exposure during their course in preparation of their endless careers.

An ability to produce quality deliverables associated with system administration and to build, maintain and troubleshoot secure computer environments using automation tools.

An ability to advice, develop and follow enterprise wide and federal standards, policies and procedures for planning, analysis, design, construction and implementation of current or future information systems.

An ability to oversee a company's cloud computing strategy, which includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design and cloud management as well as monitoring.
