About International Human Rights Laws


The scope of human rights has been ever changing with the complexity and dynamism of the society, the framework of human rights has also been changing to provide new streams of rights designed to provide the highest form of safety towards all of humanity. The Faculty of Law offers a one year Master of Law in International Human Rights Law which seeks to provide the students with the most comprehensive understanding of the legal framwork. The need to safeguard and protect the sacred nature of the human life has been growing in importance due to the rising threat which has been created by the numerous advancements in technology and emerging global practises. For this reason, the Faculty of Law has strategically designed this program in line with the global needs for human rights and has sought to train highly skilled legal resources in this field. The program is taken under the instructions of highly skilled and highliy trained experts who have been nurturing the skills of the students towards a path of legal excellence in human rights. Beyond the scope of the academics, the program seeks to develop individuals who are able to practise empathy and can relate with the numerous situations and conditions of the people within the society. The program is also research oriented, in other words it allows studeents to engage in the numerous real-time research projects which allows them to develop an apt knowledge and understanding of the scope of the legal fraternity. The students who are trained in this specialisation can work in the various International legal organisations, including the non-governmental organisations and policy makers.
