About Automobile Engineering


Automobile Engineering is a motion centric engineering program which focuses on equipping the students with relevant skills in repairing, designing and assembling of vehicles. The need for convenience has placed a high demand for reliable and sustainable vehicles as the sources of mobility. As a way of meeting this demand, the Faculty of Engineering offers a four-year undergraduate degree program in automobile engineering. The program is AICTE approved, thus guaranteeing students the highest form of quality and excellence in automobile engineering.  The curriculum is designed in such a way that it provides students with the most engaging learning experience through various laboratories such as Automobile Engine, Automobile Power-trains Systems, Vehicle Maintenance & Garage Practice, Automobile Electrical System and Fluid Mechanics. From the date of its initiation, the automotive engineering has maintained a position of significance, producing the most skilled student resources to enhance the contemporary industry. To complement the scope of academics, the program is designed in such a way that shapes and develops the career abilities for effective placements.

Facebook F8 Developers Conference

Dharmik Savalıya, Computer Science Engineering Student was invited to San Francisco to attend the Facebook Developers Conference. He not only got an opportunity to interact with Zuckerberg, but also earned a scholarship worth $595.

Go Kart Vehicle Engineering

The students of automobile engineering developed and engineered a go kart racing car for competing in the 4th season of the Indian Karting Championship. The project was developed collectively by the students of Diploma and Degree.

Workshop on “Aerodynamic and Electric Car Technology”

Department of Automobile Engineering, Parul University organized a 3 day workshop on 'Aerodynamic and Electric Car Technology' from 17th to 19th September 2018 in collaboration with ORAAS Educational Organization, Kolhapur. The 3 day workshop was conducted by Mr. Sanket Munot, Co-Founder, ORAAS Educational Organization, Kolhapur.

Industrial Visit at Gopinathji Honda

On 24th January 2019 Department of Automobile Engineering, Parul University organized a visit to Gopinathji Honda for the 3rd & 4th year students. The visit was organized for a better understanding of subjects available in the academic curriculum. For students of 6th semester, the visit was useful for the subject Vehicle Maintenance and Garage Practice and for semester 8th the subject was Vehicle Chassis and Body Engineering.

PiCET-2019

The 2nd International Conference- Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering was jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. The first session on day one was on theme: 'Next-Generation Manufacturing'
