About B.V.A Sculpture


Sculpture is a field which has maintained a position of great significance within the social and cultural context of the world due to which it has been one of the most prominent forms of recording and portraying history. The Faculty of Fine Arts offers a four-year bachelors degree program in Sculpture which is centred on imparting within the students these specific and vital skill sets and abilities in relation to the art form of sculpture. Sculpture focuses in the understanding of various illustration models in 2D and 3D artistic structures which are made using ceramic, wood, metal and stone. The curriculum is uniquely designed not only to impart within the students the relevant art skills but it also seeks to explore and showcase the inherent creative elements which lie within the students. As a way of developing the practical skills of the students the Faculty of Fine Arts has a designated studio that is fully equipped with state of the art equipments and modern technologies which allow students to explore their endless creative and innovative ideas. With an elite league of faculties, the fine arts department provides the most enriching academic experience through the guidance of these experts and creative prodigies. Beyond the scope of the curriculum the sculpture program goes on to develop the professional skills and business abilities of the students which allows them to commercialize their creativity within various market spaces.

A degree in sculpture develops the autistic elements of the students so as to understand the most complicated and sophisticated social dynamics and to present them in a beautified manner. Sculpting is a form of art which challenges an artist’s imagination. It helps an individual to look at the world in a more realistic manner and provides a balance between concept and media. Due to the universal demand for art, sculpture acts as the most commonly accepted art forms therefore creating a pool of opportunities for prospective students.
