Led by an accomplished Provost, physician Vice Presidents who established its teaching hospitals, and a Chief Executive who began as a student, Parul University advances excellence in education, research and student success.
Parul University is governed by Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust, registered in 1989. Dr. Devanshu Patel is President. Academic leadership sits with the Provost, Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan, formerly Vice Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, supported by two Pro Vice Chancellors, three Vice Presidents, a Chief Executive Officer and a Registrar.
The Governing Body is the apex decision making authority. It is chaired by the President and includes trustee members alongside the Provost and the Registrar. Statutory compliance, examinations and regulator coordination run through the Registrar’s office.

Devanshu Patel qualified in medicine at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and has spent three decades establishing educational institutions across Gujarat.

Full profile →Dr. Devanshu Patel is the President of Parul University. He holds an MBBS and an MD in Pharmacology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and founded the institutions that became Parul University, starting with Ahmedabad Homoeopathic College in 1993.
Academic leadership sits with the Provost, Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan, who joined after serving as Vice Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology. Dr. Kunjal Sinha is Pro Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Gurcharan Singh is Pro Vice Chancellor for Training, Placement, Career Development and Skills.
Prof. Manish Pandya is the Registrar, responsible for statutory compliance, examinations, academic records and coordination with regulatory bodies. Dr. Pawan Dwivedi is Deputy Registrar.
The university is governed by Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust, a charitable trust registered in 1989. The Governing Body is the apex decision making authority, chaired by the President and including trustee members, the Provost and the Registrar.
The trust and the university are named after Dr. Parul Patel, managing trustee and Vice President for Student Affairs and General Administration, who also chairs the Admissions Committee.
The Provost holds a PhD in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology and has 864 Scopus indexed publications. The three Vice Presidents hold medical degrees, two with gold medals. The Pro Vice Chancellor holds a PhD with more than 30 research publications. The Registrar holds an ME and has published 20 research papers and a textbook.
