A future-skills campus
inside the campus

Lakshya 2047 is the Centre for Future Skills at Parul University, Vadodara. Built with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Ethnotech Academy, it is Gujarat's first NSDC Centre for Future Skills and was inaugurated by Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh.

The centre brings together more than fifteen specialised laboratories under one roof, organised across three groupings: an NSDC ecosystem of global-technology labs, an AICTE AVPL/IDEA Lab zone for fabrication and drones, and dedicated research labs led by the Centre of Excellence in Sensor Technology.

The idea is simple. A student should graduate having already used the exact hardware and software industry runs on, and should leave with globally recognised certifications, not just a transcript. Faculty get the same access, so what is taught stays current with what industry actually does.

Teaching that stays current with industry

Lakshya 2047 runs on a knowledge-transfer model. Faculty are trained first, on the same industry stacks students will use, so what gets taught never drifts away from what industry actually does. The centre is as much a faculty development engine as a student one.

1

Get certified on the stack

Faculty train and certify on the Apple, AWS, Cisco, ABB, ANSYS and Adobe platforms with NSDC and Ethnotech.

2

Run lab-led teaching

Certified faculty deliver lab sessions mapped to their programmes, replacing slide-only lectures with hands-on builds.

3

Lead research and patents

Faculty drive work at the Centre of Excellence in Sensor Technology and the Mind Lab, with 30+ patent applications disclosed.

4

Supervise real projects

Faculty mentor design-build-evaluate cycles in the AICTE IDEA Lab zone, across disciplines.

The difference

A different model from the IITs and NITs

Lakshya 2047 is not trying to copy a legacy lab block. It is built around access, certification and building.

Industry tools, not generic kits

Vendor-grade hardware and software from the companies students will actually work for.

Access across disciplines

Engineering, medical, design and management students all use the centre, not one department.

Certification built in

Students leave with globally recognised credentials, not only marks on a transcript.

Faculty stay current

A knowledge-transfer model keeps teaching aligned with where industry is heading.

Build, do not just study

Real fabrication and design-build-evaluate cycles, from drones to 3D-printed parts.

Mission-aligned by design

Wired to Viksit Bharat 2047, NSDC and AICTE from the first day it opened.

Go deeper, lab by lab

Want the detail behind a specific lab or the bigger picture? These pieces walk through the instruments, the certifications and the national mission Lakshya 2047 is built to serve.
