Vadodara-based Parul University has made its mark on the global academic map by securing a place in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. The THE Impact Rankings evaluate universities worldwide based on their contributions towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This recognition reaffirms the University’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility while making Parul University the only university from Gujarat to feature in the global rankings.
The University has been placed among the Top 50 Indian institutions with an Overall Global Impact Ranking in the 1001–1500 band, reflecting its continued efforts towards addressing critical social, economic, and environmental challenges through education, research, and community engagement.
Parul University recorded its strongest performance under SDG 4 – Quality Education, securing a global ranking in the 301–400 band and placing among the Top 20 institutions in India. This achievement highlights the University’s commitment to inclusive and equitable education, improved academic outcomes, and lifelong learning opportunities.
Under SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, the University achieved a global ranking in the 801–1000 band and ranked among the Top 40 institutions in India. Through healthcare education, mental wellness initiatives, and community health outreach programs, Parul University continues to promote wellbeing both on campus and within society.
For SDG 5 – Gender Equality, Parul University secured a global ranking in the 601–800 band, placing it among the Top 30 institutions in India. Through inclusive leadership, equal opportunity initiatives, and strong gender-support frameworks, the University continues to foster an equitable academic environment.
The University also ranked among the Top 50 institutions in India for SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, with a global ranking in the 1001–1500 band. Through collaborations with international academic institutions, industry leaders, government organisations, and civil society, Parul University continues to strengthen partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.
