When he came in, 2015-16, the student count was 4,033. Right now it's past 70,000. Let that sink in for a second. Students from 28 Indian states sitting on the same campus. NAAC recognized them with A++ in 2023. First time the university ever sat for it, no practice run, no second attempt, straight A++. Youngest university in India to get that grade apparently.
NAAC A++ - that's the big one. Beyond this he has played a major role in achieving - YUGC Category 1, QS I-GAUGE Diamond Rating and NIRF top 50 for innovation in 2025. He has built the Green Library Complex, International Students Hostel, Sports Complex, Smart Labs, Central Administrative Building, all of it from scratch. Another ₹287 crore is already lined up, Cancer Hospital, 5 MW solar plant, and the list is endless.
MBBS then MD in Pharmacology, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, both of them. Entrepreneurship Management diploma from EDI Gandhinagar after that. Here's something most people don't know though - he still teaches. Professor in Pharmacology at Parul Institute of Medical Sciences & Research. Side by side, he is running a 70,000-student university and he's still in a classroom somewhere. Most people in his position stopped doing that years ago.
Garima Women Livelihood Centres, Sahiyar Gram Haat, Parul Mahila Credit Cooperative Society - together these have pulled over 1,000 women into some kind of stable economic situation. Real programmes, not just names on a website. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan - 8 colleges adopted 40 villages between them. Actual sustained work, not a one-day visit and done. The Health for All campaign ran 85 camps, treated 61,150 patients. That's a lot of people who otherwise probably wouldn't have seen a doctor. COVID years - He put ₹28 lakh into the Chief Minister's Relief Fund through university-led efforts. Separately, ₹10 lakh raised through crowdfunding went straight to daily-wage workers who had genuinely nothing during lockdowns. He was even awarded the Devdoot Award as well.
