Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy students.
• Supervise clinical postings and ensure competency-based clinical training.
• Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessment strategies.
• Mentor students in academics, research projects, dissertations, and internships.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic quality initiatives.
• Conduct and publish research in reputed journals.
• Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and continuing education programs.
• Participate in departmental, university, accreditation, and administrative activities.
• Ensure compliance with university regulations and applicable professional council norms.
• Contribute to institutional development, outreach programs, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

• Sound knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy practice.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT).
• Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) in the relevant specialization is mandatory.
• Ph.D. in Physiotherapy is preferred/required for higher academic positions as per UGC and university norms.

Experience:

• Relevant teaching and/or clinical experience as per university and regulatory norms.

Mandatory Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid registration with the respective State Physiotherapy Council (where applicable).
