About Petroleum Engineering


The exponential growth in the oil and gas industries has placed the petroleum industry at a position of great significance as pillars of the economy, and the most vital commodities on the export import market. Petroleum engineering provides an in-depth understanding of petroleum exploration and refinery along with the processes related to the field. The Faculty of Engineering offers a Bachelors, Diploma and a Masters degree program in Petroleum engineering. As a way of contributing to the growth of this industry, the program is designed to produce the competent man power, who have the ability to fully navigate the elements related to this field. The program is approved by the UGC, thus ensures the delivery of quality academics coupled with the most relevant industrial exposure. It provides a comprehensive study to vital concepts of the Petroleum Industry which include petroleum exploration, reservoir engineering, production engineering, well engineering, drilling engineering, environment engineering and refining technology. PiCET-2019

The 2nd International Conference Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering was Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. First session on day one was on theme: 'Next-Generation Manufacturing'.

Tech Expo

One of the Faculty of Engineering's major annual exhibition where final year students get to exhibit their highly innovative projects. A total of 4,000 students took part in this year's tech expo exhibition where they showcased their robots and automated systems which were strategically designed to act as solutions for various socio-economic issues.

Global Grand Challenges Summit-2019

Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University organized the Global Grand Challenges Summit (GGCS) event from 16-18 September 2019 on the UN Sustainable Goals. The students got the opportunity to work and research on areas related to the betterment of humanity.
