14 International Hotel Placements at 23 to 28 LPA: Why Hospitality Students From Vadodara Are Working at Scenic, Rydges, and Millennium Hotels Across New Zealand and Australia

A B.HMCT student that proves with skills and hard work one can achieve good results. Here we have Vishal Maurya, who got placed at Te Arai Links with a 28.06 LPA package. Te Arai Links is a luxury brand of hotels, a golf resort, and a lodge on New Zealand’s east coast, north of Auckland.

A hospitality graduate from Vadodara, Gujarat, is working at a luxury resort in New Zealand, earning a package that exceeds what many Indian IT companies offer to senior engineers. That outcome did not happen because Vishal was lucky. It happened because the hospitality program at Parul University trains students in facilities that international hotel groups recognize as meeting their operational standards.

Four Parul University students were placed at Scenic Hotel Groups. Scenic Hotel Groups is one of the largest hotel operators in New Zealand. The student who landed with 27.86 LPA also got offer from another brand with 27.33 LPA – Kairavi Jagesh Jhaveri. She is the only student from the university on the 23-name marquee list with two separate offers above 20 LPA.

Dharaiya Abhaybhai received 27.71 LPA. Lakshya Khabia and Patel Pranay each received 23.41 LPA. Four students, one hotel group, and packages ranging from 23.41 to 27.86 LPA.

New Zealand and Australia has Rydges Hotel, which is part of the Event Hospitality and Entertainment group. Ranveer Singh Parmar and Ashutosh Maurya were each placed at 27.33 LPA. Rajkotiya Shivam from B.HMCT received 23.41 LPA. Three students at the same international chain from a single university in a single season.

Three Parul University students got placed in Millennium Hotels and Resorts. Millennium Hotels and Resorts is a global brand and has flagship hotels in New Zealand. These three students received an offer of 26LPA each: Darshan Patel (D.HMCT), Ajay Kumar Bhati (B.HMCT), and Hardik Makwana (B.HMCT). Three students from the same program, same package, same international hotel group, same season. That kind of cluster placement does not happen without a relationship between the university’s training program and the employer’s operational standards.

Yadnesh Sonar and Himalay Chudasama, both from B.HMCT, were placed at Best Western at 24 LPA each. Best Western Hotels and Resorts is one of the largest hotel chains globally, with over 4,700 properties.

Snehal Bramhankar and Shahrukh Khan, both from B.HMCT, were placed at Sudima Hotels at 23.40 LPA each. Sudima is a New Zealand-owned and operated hotel group, known for sustainability and accessibility across its properties in Auckland, Queenstown, Rotorua, and Christchurch.

Deshmukh Rohan (B.HMCT) and Tandel Dhavani Kumara were placed at Hermitage at 23.41 LPA each. Rajhans Amol received 27.71 LPA at Legacy Hotels. Nehal Gajroiya was placed at Lake View Colonial at 24.38 LPA. Alok Kumar Shah (D.HMCT) and Vasudev Sharma received 23.40 LPA each at Little India.

The hospitality programme at Parul University does not operate like a conventional classroom-and-textbook degree. Students train in a mock aircraft (for aviation and hospitality cross-skills), a training kitchen and restaurant (where they prepare and serve food under industry-standard conditions), and a grooming and etiquette studio. The practical learning tour programme has taken students to 280 companies across 19 Indian cities, including visits to Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. These are not field trips. They are structured exposures where students observe operational workflows, interact with working professionals, and connect academic theory to actual industry practice.

The 2,200+ recruiting companies that hire from Parul University include not just Indian hospitality brands but international groups actively looking for graduates who have been trained to international operational standards. When Scenic Hotel Group hires four students from one university in one season, or Millennium Hotels hires three at 26 LPA each, it is because the program produces graduates whose skills align with what those hotels need on day one.

The 14 hospitality marquee placements exist within a season that produced 3,500+ total placements across 8+ faculties. The top of the list is Soumya Dhakad at 43 LPA (B.Tech CSE). The early placements from the 2027 batch include Tanish Patel and Suraj at 60 LPA each at Microsoft. Kondapalli was placed at BP. Vaideshree Nakrani from LLB was placed at ICICI Lombard. Amal Pushp from MBA Logistics was placed at DHL Fairy Bhatia from MBA HR (SAP certified, IIT Bombay SWAYAM) was placed at Setco Auto Systems. Dhruvik Dave from MSW is at CSRBOX working on the Schaeffler IBT Project. Dolly Batra from BCA received two offers. The hospitality placements are the most dramatic example of global employability, but the placement cell operates across every faculty.
