Inside Parul University’s GCF AI Training: Building Industry-Ready, Certified AI Talent

Most computer science graduates leave university knowing the theory of AI. Fewer leave having actually built, tested, and certified their skills against an industry standard. Parul University’s GCF (Global Certificate Forum) training is designed to close that gap, and its Artificial Intelligence edition, run for third-semester AIML students, shows how a modern university builds genuinely job-ready talent.

The GCF AI training runs for one intensive week, and its methodology is deliberately hands-on rather than lecture-heavy. Sessions combine live demonstrations, daily problem-solving exercises, individual and group activities, and constant review of key concepts. Over five days, students move from the fundamentals of AI and machine learning, through data preparation and algorithms, to building a complete end-to-end ML pipeline. Mani Shekhar Yarramsetti, a trainer from Ethnotech with an industry background in software and backend development, led the AI sessions. His approach connects theory to real-world applications through practical examples, and he brings substantial classroom experience, by his own account having taught well over a thousand students at Parul University, often in large batches. Mr Deepak Kumar Gupta handled program coordination, keeping sessions disciplined and on schedule. This industry-experienced delivery is central to the program’s value: students learn from someone who has worked in the field, not only studied it.

What makes the GCF program meaningful is that its certification is not automatic. Training culminates in a mock test and then a final certification examination, conducted under standardized, transparent conditions. The passing bar is deliberately high: students must score at least 75% to qualify. That threshold is set on purpose to ensure students genuinely understand the concepts rather than learning superficially so that a GCF certificate actually signals industry readiness. It reflects the wider Lakshya 2047 philosophy that a student should graduate certified, not just qualified.
