About Diploma in Agricultural Engineering

With the growing scope of agriculture as one of the pillars of the economy and as a sector to provide the highest form of socio-economic welfare, the department of diploma studies under Parul University has developed a three year diploma program in Agricultural Engineering which allows students to develop their basics in the field and supplement the need for effective human resources. The program is a part of the University’s efforts towards producing an effective manpower with the ability to develop and enhance the scope of agriculture. The program is approved by the AICTE and is focused on providing students with the most dynamic skill sets, which are essential for understanding the various aspects of agriculture. The department follows a curriculum which is strategically designed to equip students with the ability to effectively blend the knowledge of agriculture and engineering. With immense practical training and exposure, the program also seeks to mobilise the engineering community to become more effective in delivering real products and services of benefit to the farmers.
