Startup Nivesh is PIERC’s dedicated investor-connect platform, where vetted startups pitch directly to a curated network of angel investors and venture-capital firms. It is where much of the ecosystem’s serious fundraising begins, turning a strong pitch into a real conversation with capital.

PIERC runs a series of hackathons and challenges that turn problems into products over intense, focused events, including a Vadodara Hackathon and a Vadodara Police Hackathon that invites solutions to real public-safety problems. These are often where a student’s first serious idea, and first team, is formed.

Beyond the flagships, PIERC hosts events for specific sectors and communities: a Healthcare Innovation Festival for medical and health-tech ideas; a Women Startup Meet to support and spotlight women founders; a Vadodara Toycathon focused on designing toys in India; and a Vadodara Kidovation Festival that invites young children to innovate. Together they widen who gets to participate in entrepreneurship.

PIERC’s calendar also includes programmes that build depth over time: the Young Entrepreneur Exchange Program (YEEP), an international summer school run with Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland; the PIERC Incubation Cohort, which takes a batch of startups through structured support; and Affordable Innovation initiatives aimed at solutions for social impact. And demo days give startups a recurring stage to pitch their progress to investors.
