The ever-growing scope of human scientific development has resulted in cutting edge research discoveries in the scope of Genetics through innovations in DNA. The Faculty of Applied sciences provides a three year Bachelor of Science Degree in Genetics, which focuses in the discovery of knowledge related to biological sciences. The department is equipped with the most cutting edge research facilities and laboratories which provide the most engaging learning experience. The curriculum is uniquely designed to inculcate within the students the root level knowledge of genetics, its past and present innovations and also its future scope. As a way of developing and shaping the practical hands on training of the students, the faculty constantly engages in knowledge centric workshops and innovative experimental projects under the guidance of expert faculties and resource persons. The department maintains strong ties with various industries and research centres which continuously shape and guide the genetics students towards developing effective career competencies.
