Bachelor of Arts in Administration and Governance

The B.A. in Administration and Governance at Parul University is a three-year residential degree designed for learners who aspire to understand and influence India’s administrative, political and developmental landscape. 3 years program

This programme is one of the few undergraduate degrees in the country designed around the complete intellectual framework required for careers in public services and governance. The programme is academically rigorous and structured within a 144-credit, six-semester framework under the Choice Based Credit System Beyond academic learning, the programme is designed to develop the analytical thinking, ethical reasoning, writing ability, and multidisciplinary understanding required for high-level public administration and policymaking. Because of this comprehensive design, the programme also provides a strong foundation for several competitive examinations, including:

  • Union Public Service Commission examinations
  • State Public Service Commission examinations
  • Staff Selection Commission examinations
  • Banking and financial sector examinations
  • Railway Recruitment Board examinations
  • Various State Government Recruitment examinations

Thus, graduates are prepared not only for Civil Services, but also for a wide spectrum of careers in public administration, governance, and government services.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate shall have passed 12th Examination with minimum 70% in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts) with English subject from a recognized board. Admission will be granted based on the entrance examination conducted by the University.
