Synapsoirée 2.0 by the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Parul University
What is Synapsoirée 2.0?
Synapsoirée 2.0 is an exclusively designed 2nd edition of the psychology conclave, hosted by the dignitaries of the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Parul University. It ran from 5th to 10th October 2026 with the central theme of “Within The Mind, Beyond The Neurons” to celebrate the ever-evolving spirit of World Mental Health Day and World Mental Health Week. Across six days, it ran seven keynotes and eleven workshops and activities, led by psychologists, psychiatrists, neuroscientists, and practitioners, so that students could hear how psychology works in the world beyond the classroom. The inaugural ceremony opened with the lighting of the lamp, an address by the Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and remarks by Mr. Neel Desai, Chief Faculty Coordinator, who tied the program to the World Health Organization’s World Mental Health Day theme of lived experiences and real voices.

Why Synapsoirée 2.0 matters for psychology students
The conclave gave students a direct line to practitioners across the breadth of psychology, clinical, counselling, forensic, sports, cognitive neuroscience, and more, at the exact point where many are deciding their own path. Several sessions dealt with sensitive themes such as trauma, mental illness, and the pressures of digital life and were led by qualified experts in an educational setting. The program sits within the Faculty of Liberal Arts‘ psychology offering and reflects how Parul University connects classroom study with professional practice and public mental health awareness.
