Beyond Borders - Parul University x Bern University of Applied Sciences!

International collaborations are only meaningful when they change what a student actually experiences. The partnership between Parul University and Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), Switzerland, does exactly that, most visibly through the Young Entrepreneur Exchange Program (YEEP), but as part of a much broader two-way relationship. Here is how the collaboration works, and why it matters for students on both sides

What does the Partnership Deliver?

At its core, the collaboration lets students from each country learn and build in the other’s environment. The most established channel is YEEP, through which Swiss students travel to India for an immersive entrepreneurship summer school, working alongside Parul University students, mentored by PIERC, and exposed to the fast-growing Indian market. It is a genuine exchange of perspective: Swiss structure and precision meeting Indian adaptability and market intuition, with each side learning from the other.

Credits and Global Competence for Bern Students

For the visiting BFH students, YEEP is an accredited part of their studies, not an add-on. The module carries ECTS credits (the European Credit Transfer System used across European higher education) and counts toward the BFH Certificate of Global Competence, formally recognising the international, intercultural capability students build in India. Parul University hosts the participants on campus, and students may add an optional post-programme travel package to experience more of the country, with visits to destinations such as Goa, Agra, and Delhi. The result is an experience that is academically credited and culturally immersive at once.

Arden Benefits for Parul University’s Students!

The exchange is not one-directional. Parul University students working in YEEP’s mixed teams gain international collaboration experience without leaving campus, exposure to Swiss working styles, global peers, and the confidence that comes from building something with people from another culture. For a student aiming at global markets or higher study abroad, that lived cross-cultural experience is a genuine advantage, and a preview of how international business actually works. Learn to think like a founder and prepare to turn opportunities into businesses that can grow. Build and discover global learning experience at Parul University through BBA in Marketing, BBA in Financial Management, BBA in Digital Marketing, and BBA in International Business.

Part of a Wider International Ecosystem!

The Bern partnership is one thread in a large tapestry. Through its Centre for International Relations and Research (CIRR), Parul University maintains 120-plus partner universities and runs a range of global programmes, semester exchanges, international internships, summer schools, visiting-professor and faculty-mobility programmes, and more. In 2026 alone, these initiatives were set to bring 151 international participants across 11 programmes from 22 countries, and inbound exchange students from countries including Belgium, Portugal, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Russia, and Indonesia have shared their experiences of studying at Parul University. The Bern collaboration shows, in concentrated form, what this whole ecosystem is for.
